Having a warming trend here (in Utah in early March, go figure), so I grabbed Rudy the pug and off we went for a hike in Mill Creek Canyon, on the Grandeur Peak trail. This trail starts out of the Church Fork Campground and Picnic Area, which is a beautiful location with a nice stream, huge trees, and very scenic views. Given that it is still deep winter here, we obviously didn't try to reach the summit (I did this at a later date, but that's another post), but Rudy and I had a wonderful time.
This is a great place to take newcomers to Utah to begin their exploration, and I have done this now a couple of times. If you come and visit, off we'll go!
