Another great day out with Jesse and the Pugs (Paco & Rudy). I've been trying to catch Jesse up on some of the cool places I've been lately, so I took them out to Willard Canyon. As I mentioned in a previous post, this is an area that's really interesting and quite beautiful, hidden away behind some horribly ugly mining pits. The pugs really seemed to enjoy themselves, and it was Jesse's first time actually going up into a canyon. A really fun place to visit, and in some ways all the more startling because of what you have to pass through to get there. I did eventually go back and hike the whole canyon (alone, except for the multitude of rattlesnakes I kept encountering), but that's another post.
